Welcome to Nolensville Tennessee
Nolensville, Tennessee is located about 30 minutes South of Nashville or 23 miles along Interstate 24 or Highway 253. It’s about 10 miles from Brentwood or 20 minutes depending on which way you go. Nolensville is in Williamson County and is home to about 5800 residents. It was Incorporated in 1996 although technically a reincorporation after the Civil War captured Nolensville in 1862. The original incorporation was in 1839 but from 1890 to 1986 Nolensville was known for its mill company, co-op creameries, and several hotels. Since being reincorporated in 1996 Nolensville has seen substantial growth and several subdivision and developments have sprung up along Bent Creek, Winterset Woods, Silver Stream and Sunset Farms just to name a few. In addition to the growth, the Williamson County school board recently purchased 95 acres on the South side of Nolensville for a new K-8 and high school. Mill Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and Nolensville High schools are expected to open in the fall of 2016 and will share a campus off York Road.
Speaking of schools, Nolensville is currently home to two elementary schools and one middle school, but shares the Ravenwood High School with the Brentwood school district. This is just one of the reasons the Nolensville High School is set to open in 2016.
Nolensville is home to a variety of sports leagues and youth recreational activities for ages 4 to 12 such as football, baseball, softball, and soccer. Most of the sports fields are located along Mill Creek with close proximity to town. This small town prides itself on community and the value of neighbors working together. With Fourth of July celebrations, Christmas events, fall festivals and more, Nolensville is known for its community involvement with classic car shows, arts and crafts fairs, Veterans Day celebrations and more.
