It’s the hustle and bustle holiday season, and last week was a busy one for the Allen Team. Our former and current clients received notice of a relocation and it was time to scurry and help make their dreams come true. These fine folks were making plans to move home to be near family and raise their sweet, precious daughter.
First call to was to The Decorologist to schedule our staging. Most of you know that we offer the trademarked Expert Psychological Staging services to all of our clients. Consider it our gift to you! It works every time! In this instance, we received an offer after the first showing ~ for over asking price.
It’s a Wonderful Life…
Here is how Our Christmas Story unfolded:
Dining room before and after. Removing the rug, bookcase and tablecloth opens the space tremendously. Room looks much larger.
Kitchen before and after. Simple styling and letting natural light shine in.
Coffee station: Simple details count – The Decorologist always has a spot for a coffee station. Starbucks Christmas Blend, anyone?
Family room before and after: The sectional was strategically broken up, the rug from dining room was redirected to this space, and the Christmas tree was relocated to a less conspicuous spot in the room – plus it now also blocks the TV view from the entry.
TV is now behind tree. Genius!
Master bedroom before and after: Flipped the red/brown bedding over and folded it down. More neutral and appealing to a broader audience. Even pulled a cowboy hat out from the closet. It’s Nashville, after all, y’all!!! And the owner’s framed photo over the bed is from Tootsie’s too!
Guest room retreat: Just a little rearranging goes a long way.
This room was left unstaged, but cute as a button. Anyone remember Holly Hobby? One of my all-time favorites.
So — coming soon to SOLD before Elf on the Shelf could plan his next move? Isn’t it amazing what a couple of well-spent hours can do?
